CARE GUIDES BY MATERIAL

While our 14K gold pieces are meant to last forever, they do require gentle care and occasional polishing depending on how often you wear your pieces. To clean your 14K jewelry, use a soft-bristled brush or damp cloth with detergent-free soap and gently scrub. Be sure to rinse off any excess residue! You can also use a polishing cloth from time to time (but be very gentle).

Over time, precious metals (sterling silver) and plating (gold vermeil) will naturally tarnish, especially when exposed to environmental factors like air pollution, moisture and chemicals like sulfur. Proactive maintenance is key here, so be sure to clean your pieces regularly with a soft dry cloth and store them in the pouches they come in. Remove your gold vermeil pieces before: showering, swimming, participating in activities that will cause you to sweat, and applying lotions, perfume or makeup. To remove tarnish on gold vermeil pieces, gently wipe them with a soft cleaning cloth. For sterling silver, gently buff your pieces with a sterling silver polishing cloth. Please do not use abrasive cleaners.

Herringbone chains are intricately designed chains that are prone to kinking without proper care. It is important to lay your herringbone chains flat whenever you take them off. Cleaning should be avoided due to the design of this chain and its delicate nature. With that said, we recommend taking off your herringbone chain when applying lotion, perfume and hairspray as residue can build up over time.

While Diamonds are formed under pressure and are known to be some of the hardest natural substances found on earth, they can still be damaged under certain circumstances. To keep your diamond jewelry looking its best, be mindful of how and where you wear it. Any physically challenging activities could impact your jewelry, especially diamond rings. To minimize the risk of losing or damaging diamonds, do not wear jewelry in conditions where friction or abrasion may wear down the prongs of metal, which hold the stones in place. Avoid applying strong pressure or scratching pavé settings. Inspect pavé set jewelry at least every six months and immediately after jewelry is hit, scratched, or damaged to identify loose stones.
